i say this to you
we all have piƱata hearts
break them, toys and sweets

having seen your face
all men would forsake the moon
i am sure of it

your tongue is a gun
and when you turned it on me
ah, it was murder

new york city girls
are frozen on the inside
but, oh those long skirts!

if you are looking
for a treasure in this chest,
you will not find it.

your beautiful hair
a sea of raven tangles
dancing 'round the room

mi adorada
pierdo su sonrisa
me he perdido

The first one is my favorite. I just really like the carelessness and youth (is that the right word?) of it.

I just found Scrawlers today, and I'm diggin it. I knew I would eventually find some gems; I just didn't expect it to happen this fast. Here's one! We're rich!

The "tongue is a gun" is so, so good. And there's something about "New York City Girls" that so simply and richly encapsulates an entire lifestyle.
